Emamectin is a new kind of highly efficient semi-synthetic antibiotic insecticide, which is synthesized from the fermentation product abamectin B1. Security
The acute oral and percutaneous toxicity of this product to female and male rats were moderate. The acute transoral LD50 of male mice was 126mg/kg, that of female rats was 92. 6mg/kg, that of male rats was 126mg/kg, that of female rats was 108mg/kg, and that of male rats was 126mg/kg. It had no irritation on rabbit skin, but had moderate irritation on eye mucosa. No mutagenic effect. Subchronic toxicity test showed that although body weight and some biochemical indexes were changed, no obvious target organ damage was observed. The teratogenic results showed that the drug had no obvious maternal toxicity and no obvious fetal toxicity was observed.
